Are you still active and interested in all things healthy but looking for options which take issues of aging into account and which allow you to be around other older adults?
Well, here’s a great opportunity for just that!
☮ Kettlebell Fundamentals is designed to introduce Boomers to the benefits of working with kettlebells.
Offering both cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise and strength-based (anaerobic) movements, kettlebells can be used to improve overall functioning, making every day activities easier and more enjoyable. Off-setting some of the effects of muscle loss due to aging, strength training helps with bone health and metabolism. Kettlebell training will also assist with balance, flexibility and core strength.
☮ Kettlebell Fundamentals begins Monday April 11th and runs for 5 weeks, with two classes each week. Suitable modifications and progressions will be taught. Close supervision in a small group will ensure success and safety.
Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00pm – 1:45pm. Beginning April 11th, ending May 11th.
Following completion of the ☮ Kettlebell Fundamentals program, participants may then join the ongoing Seniors Kettlebell Training Class held at 11:00am on Tuesdays and Thursday.
