South Beach Steve
All to often we forget to play. As if the fun part isn’t enough, it is usually great exercise too. Thanks for the reminder Wendy.

Hey Steve! There are days when what we think we ought to be doing just seems like putting our nose to the grindstone; for sure. But, this should be the exception. If we do not find joy in what we are doing, then we need to check out other options. Fun, enjoyment, joy — these are the keys to what will become easy and loved in our lives.

Yes, both diane. The first photo is my partner, totally and thoroughly enjoying things he never thought he would or things he never would have made time for in his life. The second photo is an international kite surfing competition we came across — lovely colours, lovely people, strong bodies, fun. On both occasions we were on a stunning and rugged necklace of french islands where wine can be purchased on sundays and atlantic waves carried us higher than we thought we could go!

I agree with you and try to make sure that I plan something enjoyable into each and every day. Weekends I get more fun in than most. I hate wasting my time cleaning and doing laundry – especially on the weekends. I believe that if we all remembered to build some fun into each and everyday (whatever that is for each person) we’d all be alot happier.
Looks like you and your family take the idea of fun to heart. Hooray! Enjoy!
